The longer I serve the Lord the more I realize that the biggest attack the enemy uses in the life of the Believer is in their thought life. I'm fully convinced that whatever we can whip in our mind we can whip in our lives. Many great and caring Christians I've been speaking to recently have really seemed to be battling and dealing with great Spiritual warfare in this season of their lives. Realizing this I have begun to understand in a greater capacity the importance of thinking Biblically in the face of hardships.
The battle between the Spirit of God in us and the flesh we live in will always be fought on the battlefield of the mind. We have to spend our time preparing our mind by feeding it the Word of God if we wanna live a victorious life. The attacks our enemy uses will be most successful if they are able to get us thinking on a level that violates who we are called to be as believers.
We all live on the level of our thinking. I tell our people all the time that anything born naturally comes out head first. We also say that you will never inherit million dollar destiny with a ten cent mind. These statements allude to the importance of our thought life in regards to any future success. For example, if a person who is poor views themselves as poor and never sees a scenario where they are no longer poor, chances are they will stay in their poverty situation. God wants us to see ourselves as He sees us and allow ourselves to have our thought life line up with His Word so we can embrace the blessed life He has for us as children of the King.
Too many of us are depressed, frustrated, irritated, angry, etc. because of our thought life. If we do as Philippians says and begin to think on the right things our success will be available and our victory over the enemy assured. Remember the fight is for your mind so decide today to make Biblical thinking a priority so your future can be established. Any thoughts that run contrary to God's Word must be expelled! Guard your mind and watch your life improve! ]]>200 OK
